Lilian De Loza Gutierrez, Vice President
Lilian De Loza has been with Consensus Planning Group for twelve years and manages the Los Angeles, CA headquarters office for the company. She brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in all aspects of community relations. Her expertise includes outreach to multicultural communities, public participation programs that comply with the California Environmental Quality Act and National Environmental Policy Act (CEQA/NEPA), and community relations for retail, transportation, housing and environmental remediation projects.

Ms. De Loza directs various CEQA/NEPA outreach programs for the California General Services Department - Real Estate Services Division, Caltrans and the Port of Los Angeles. She also has organized seminars to communities on the CEQA/NEPA process and educates stakeholders on opportunities for their involvement on project planning efforts.

In addition to public sector clients, Ms. De Loza has managed community relations programs for numerous Fortune 500 corporate clients including The Home Depot, BNSF Railway, Honeywell, and Black and Decker.

Ms. De Loza is responsible for providing strategic counsel on our numerous Spanish/English outreach programs, and is current on issues in government and public policy that affect minority communities, specifically Latinos. Her commitment to diversity issues extends to her work with the Hispanas Organized for Political Equality (HOPE) Leadership Institute, of which she is an alumna. Members of the HOPE Leadership Institute include elected officials, commissioners, grassroots organizers, and executives throughout California.

Prior to working for Consensus Planning Group, Ms. De Loza served as an aide to the late Los Angeles Mayor Tom Bradley and former Council Member Rita Walters. In these capacities with the City of Los Angeles, she served as their liaison to the Latino community.

Ms. De Loza holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sociology from Occidental College. She has studied in Cuernavaca, Morelos, México and is fluent in Spanish.
