Jennifer Labrado, Regional Manager, Orange County
As regional manager for Consensus Planning Group in Orange County, Jennifer Labrado brings an understanding of the region's issues, politics and communities to our firm. Her extensive experience in public affairs, media relations, and community outreach programs greatly facilitates CPG’s expansion efforts in Orange County, leading new business development opportunities in the County’s real estate, transportation and housing sectors. Ms. Labrado also serves as project manager for a residential development project for Century Vintage Homes in Palm Springs and for Home Depot projects in Sonora and La Mirada. Her portfolio is completed with her role providing strategic counsel for the Orange County Transportation Authority’s Riverside County – Orange County Corridor Major Investment Study, as well as, developing media strategies for numerous other clients.

Ms. Labrado previously served as Public Information Officer for the Irvine Unified School District. As PIO for IUSD, she developed and implemented the District’s first strategic communications plan and was responsible for a highly successful media, community and government relations program.

Prior to her work with the IUSD, Ms. Labrado served as the community and local government liaison to North Orange County for the Orange County Transportation Authority. In this capacity she established strong working relationships with city staff and local elected officials, and successfully managed community outreach programs for the Interstate 5 Far North Improvement Project, the West and North Orange County Project Development Studies, ACCESS, Metrolink and the Regional Soundwall Program. Ms. Labrado also facilitated the board-appointed Citizens Advisory Committee for OCTA, which included county-wide recruitment of 42-members, bi-monthly committee and subcommittee meetings.

Her event planning skills were recognized by the Public Relations Society of America with the awarding of their highest honor, a PROTOS Award for the 91 Express Lanes Press Event.

Ms. Labrado is a graduate of the Coro Foundation’s Fellows Program in Public Affairs and received her B.A. in American Studies with a minor in English from the University of California at Davis.
